Been seeing this place pop up on a few different fb groups, finally got to taste the good. OMG! Soooo good! Had the platter for two, far too much food for us but we waded through it like champs. Meat was so juicy and flavourful. Service was prompt and very polite.
We actually arrived 15 mins before it opened, went away for a drink and when we came back we were told we were on a waiting list! That's how busy this place is. But it was a short wait and well worth it!
De-lish! The menu was small, but had everything you need for a great BBQ meal. The pulled pork was saucy and the skinny ass fries were perfectly salted. I chose Crack Tea to wash it all down and it's sweet flavor could have had me sitting there sipping for hours.
This restaurant is a much-needed addition to the Itaewon area. It brings the real flavors of the US for Koreans to enjoy and provides a real comfort food for Americans who miss their Southern roots. I'm excited to go back and try the brisket and the baby back ribs on another visit. Well done Linus!
As a southern myself who's eaten award-winning BBQ throughout my life, Linus has southern BBQ on lock down. Everything from the meat to the sides are great. Linus is very open to trying new things and hearing feedback. Given that a 10 USD plate in the USA comes to about 13 USD with tax and tip, Linus' prices are good especially for Korea where certain ingredients are hard to come by. Linus also has great cocktails, great beer on tap, and a do-it-yourself cotton candy machine. Cotton candy is popular in Korea right now. Take your girl to Linus' BBQ, stuff your gaping maw, get some free cotton candy, and save yourself a few bucks on dessert.
